i've lowered my golf 40mm allround on 15'' alloys sits nicely but could still do with being a bit lower especially at the back, the only kits i can find are 80mm front and 60mm back, won't this look a bit stupid.? will a 60 mm drop all round look alot different? does any one know of any kits 60mm front 80mm back? do reccon that would look good or not?

hi, have you thought of coilovers? you can set the ride height to your own taste:D

I used to have a MK2 lowered to 40mm. I think 60mm is really pushing it. No way I would have gone to 80mm!
Are you doing it for looks or handling? I'd say you'd be better keeping it at 40mm but stiffening up the rest of the chassis with anti-roll bars and poly bushes. Thats what I'd do if I did it again.

hey, yeah i'm doing it more for looks. coilovers seem to be the best op but still not sure how low to go. my drive that i need to go up ever day scrapes at 40mm but could prob get away wiv goin a bit lower. it'll prob cost me £150 springs, fited, tracking and camber. so at that price coilovers might be the best op.
