Turbo problems on an Audi a3 2.0 tdi 140

Hi, I hope that someone out there maybe able to help me,:1zhelp:

I have an 2004 on an '04' plate Audi a3 2.0 tdi 140, and I am having trouble with what I was told by jabbasport and custom codes is the turbo, it is making a wining noise when I get to about 2000 rpm, the noise used to go when you got abit faster but now it is there most of the time, I have asked Audi if they know of ne problems with the turbo's, and they state that they are not aware of any,

But I have been told by a couple of people that it is a known problem with the turbo that the bears get burnt out,

So I am writing to see if anyone else has had a problem or knows of anyone who has, with the turbo on there tdi,

their is a thread around reference vag turbos,but as i said before,have you tried scrolling down to "similar threads"?

hiya, yea u prob did, i put it on everywhere i could to see wat people said, yea i looked at the similar thread, and got some good stuff to take wiv me,

Hi I have the same problem at the moment I think, Check my thead out
I am now in disbute with Audi over the 2K repair on a 3month out of warranty an 72K mile turbo.
