2004 Polo 1.2 Sparkplugs

Hi All,
I would like to service the car myself but how do I change the sparkplugs . I have looked at changing them but how do I remove the plastic cover with the coils on it to get at the plugs?

After pulling up the airfilter cover and removing, the coil packs will pull straight off the spark plugs - they are a tight fit. You will also have to free off the wiring from the plastic rail that runs along the head under the coil packs.
I also unscrewed the plastic rail (torx screws) to get enough slack to enable all of the coil packs to clear their mounting/fitting holes.
Fiddly but straight forward and as they say in all the good books:- refitting is the reverse of the above
