I have a S8 4.2 2002 - I am recently getting weird Limp mode issues - however switch engine off and back on and all is OK.
Had her scanned getting code 17090 Transmission Range Sensor - Not a Plausible Signal P0706.
Can I please have some pointers - where this sensor is? (is is the Multifunction Switch), what are the symptoms - i am getting weird Shifts (4-5th Gear), LIMP Mode when cold etc.....
