Central locking problem

Hi, can someone please help me. When i lock the door of my 1997 A4 Avant all of the doors lock but the pump continues to work for about 30 secs.

Any ides?

This can indicate a leak in the pressure/vac tubing, either at the pump, the fuel flap, one of the doors/tailgate, or at the junction behind the front seats.

You may be able to hear a hissing sound if you investigate.

You need to fix this quickly, as the graphite impeller can shatter when the pump starts having to work overtime.
