Boot arm plastic trim has fallen off

The bit of black plastic covering the left boot lid arm has fallen off.

Anyone else had this problem?

It going in to dealer to have it replaced.

Also when the car is in the dealer they are doing an engine managment software upgrade and tightening some bolts round the engine that apparrently need checking.

my bit fell off on the side with the release cable, the one that goes underside the boot lid. its fallen into the bottom hole in the side of the rear wheel arch. Might try to fish it out one day using a coat hanger!

Yeah, mine fell off within a week

Plastic clips are very weak. It got jammed under the side bits so I just ripped it out.

Don't think I'll bother replacing
