Sorry to those who may have read my previous thread on this but I am still having problems with my cruise control.
It will run fine for 5-10 mins then begins to speed up. I recently took it to get fixed and the whole cruise contol arm was replaced, so I thought that was it but only a week later it started doing the same thing.
I am taking it back to the garage but would be interested to know any thoughts on the problem.
Cheers

Could be a faulty brake light switch !

Thats interesting as been mentioned before. Is this something I could fix myself?

Could be a faulty brake light switch !

Newbie here, but in my experience, the brake light (switch) only serves to deactivate the cruise control, so is unlikely to cause the car to speed up.

In years of driving VAG cars (hire cars with work) I've never had a single issue - this could be tricky to sort !
