Are the roads better over there now ?
If not make sure you have a good dentist. ;)

Just fitted RS4 alloys to my Audi desided against 18" and opted for 17" for handling and comfort. The roads around here are dreadful.

Hey there, exciting looking post, and as your motor is the same colour as my A4 SPORT I'll be taking a keen interest it everything you do. Do us all a favor though, and invest in a decent camera!

The RS4 alloys look great, much better than the standard 16's they come with. I've been looking to change mine for a couple of months now but can't decide on which ones to go for. Sometime I think I'll just get a set of 17'' 5-stars like the ones that came on most S-lines. However I do really love the old style S4 18's like the attached image. Although I seem to be on my own here, as I've not seen a set of these on anything other than S4's? Am I not getting something?

i know - this was my mobile (k800i - with 3.2MP camera - was at night with no flash) will take proper shots over the weekend and post them early next week - not really sure about your choice of wheels (S4's) take a look at these - i would have loved to put these on my car - way too expensive though!

Rrrrr, I can see it now! Nice wheels..

However, you like me, have far to much grey plastic in the lower regoins of your car! I've had a couple of quotes to paint my bumpers and skirts for around £250/300 which maybe I'll get round too.. However for now at least I need to sort my alloys out!

I really like keeping original Audi parts on the car, hence loving the S4's I mentioned above - however clearly I'm on my own there! I managed to get a lippy boot spoiler from e-bay last weel for £17, and hope to get an arm rest (i know, crazy) in the next few weeks. However they seem to be somewhat expensive at £125 from Audi, so like the new alloys I've been putting it off!

What else are you looking to do to your car?

Haven't got the bottom 'grey' parts sprayed as in a few weeks the next addition is this kit - listed on http://www.audi-accessories.co.uk/ (votex kit) includes front bumber, rear bumper with soon to be added custom twin exit 3" pipes, rear lip spoiler & side skirts see links below:

Also would love to add sat nav - looked into it - but far too much work & money required to do it & i have BOSE system which means i would need to get someone to switch sat nav unit to BOSE settings, think i'll hold off for Sat nav in the next one!!!

But these here - hopefully!

Have already added these & if you haven't bought them and put them in.... you need to ask your self one question... why not, quite possibly the easiest thing to add, ever!

No dentist needed.
I'm sure, but an A4 Sport is already rock-hard................

No it isn`t

Maybe compared to the Passat Estate PD130 or the Passat 1.8SE which have jelly for legs ;)

I give you slightly firmer than the already firm models with out the sport suspension fitted, but rock hard it is not.

Let's say I got too old for mine, I just found it wearing, and traded it.....

Yeah, very nice! Although the propper A4 ones came as 18''! Anyhow got myslef a set of 17'' 5-Star alloys off ebay early this month. Just referbing them and hope to get them on next next weekend.

Then just to color-code all that grey plastic round the bumpers and skirts! Oh and some door blades. Has anyone seen any cheap places to get them. £84 for copies is the best I've seen from an ebay seller in Canada!

So hows the project coming on?

are the RS4's on your car 17" or 18". Is your A4 lowered? Could you also tell me the tyre profile and width etc. I am looking to put a set of either 17's or 18's on my golf MK4 but I dont wanna go for a really loow profile due to the old dentist issues!! I have seen A few alloys on ebay, they are 17" x 7.5". Some have 205/50 and some have 225/40. How can the same wheel fit both a 205 and a 225 tyre??

Thnaks

ditech50 - they are 18's - no car has standard suspension, tyres are 235 40 18 - you can pretty much put whatever width tyre you like on an alloy - the only thing is that if it is too thin the tyre will wear in the middle (if you can imagine it being streched across the alloy) i was advised to put this type of tyre on my wheels by a mate who is a main dealer
