Hi there, anybody know how to get around the 'bulb failure' sensor that kicks in when I tried fitting LED sidelights to my A3? The bulbs work fine but switch off after a few seconds.

I read somewhere about needing to fit a resistor, but that's a bit techy for me.

im not to sure to be honest. But yes, if you can't get rid of that bulb failure msg you'll need a resister. Prob is i had a set of sidelights that did this and caused this error. And was then advised we needed a resistor which the bulb shop sent us the next day. (my dad fitted it) In the end i figured it kept setting the alarm of so put a philips xenon effect bulb in. Sorted all probs!

To be honest the a3 is a pain to fit anything not standard...If you want those Daytime led then buy a new A3 s-line and get the xenon pack...

Or wait for the A1 and be given all the led you could ask for! :D
