does anybody know what a throttle body is, and where i can get one from?

idol valve just moves on its own, stalling. someone tried cleaning the throttle body but it got even worse. they said throttle body needs replacing.

Have you tried a Throttle body reset with vagcom.

A local VAG specialist garage or look in the vagcom section to see if there is someone near to you to scan and do a TBA.
