A6 windows automatically opening

On a few occassions i have found all 4 of my windows fully down, i have noticed that it only happens when it starts to rain.

Does anyone know what might cause the windows to automatically open - i am not pressing and holding the open button on the key.

Any help or comments are appreciated.

Be very careful where you put your remote key fob, if you put it in your pocket and sit down in a chair, if the unlock button is pressed and held, it will unlock the car followed by all of the windows coming down fully open.
I have come out to my car in the morning to discover all four windows down. Careful management of the key fob will sort this, I have had no trouble since.

There are well-known issues regarding a problem with the "convenience module" of the central electronics controller.

Find someone with VAG-COM, or a good VAG inde to read any fault codes.
