A3 door open warning

Hi All

I've got a problem with my Audi A3 and would appreciate some advice on what the problem could be... door open warning is displayed on dash but door is fully shut. Any ideas ??? This problem only came about this morning when it was -5c outside - perhaps the weather has frozen the switch shut.

Hi, sounds like the switch in the door latch.maybe bad connection somwhere.
