During heavy rain my 2002 1.9tdi Audi a4 hesitates on accelleration and even stops. If I remove the plug on the air intake the car goes normally but perhaps with a slower. accelleration. About 2 years ago I had this diagnosed in a VW garage as a faulty air flow meter. and paid £111.00 to have a new one fitted. This seemed to improve the prob but it has become really bad again. Can you please help as my Audi garage in Belfast will not give any help unless they get the car in for diagnosis which costs £103.00
