My 1998 A6 TDi has just recently passed it's MOT, but there was an advisory note to say that the rear shock absorbers are on their way out. Rather than replacing with standard shocks I was thinking of getting the car lowered. Can anyone recommend budget spring/shock kits or coilovers? Or has anyone lowered their A6 and wishes they hadn't!!?
