Stockport or Bury for me.... Both equidistant.

None in Wirral, so it's no use to me!

about 20 miles ish away for me so wouldn't be worth it ........

However, there is a local place that does M.O.T's only, and do not do any work, just purely test. So i may try them when it is next due.

Interesting.......a good find. Same Soton is the nearest one to me. :( I hate taking cars to garages, you never know what actually needs to be done.
Ive had garages fail an MOT, and then charge stupid amounts to fix. :zx11:

I get mine done from about £35 and taken a few of our cars there a few times. I trust him when he says there is a problem as it is usually me who gets to fix it - whoppeee doo for me.

A good find there Hagis!

I think I've possibly got the best deal I've had thus far, I can ring up with 24 hours notice and get an MOT for a snip under £25, bulbs are replaced FOC and so far, the golf's never once failed.

i was stuck and had forgotten to get my old car tested by a day i think, so rang the local garage and they said bring it down, they found a few things wrong with it, then said the mot would be 57 quid with free retest within 7 days, nearly belted him when i went to pick it up, but then i thought i should have asked price before hand and chose not to throttle him till he went blue

on a lighter note, one of the garages is just down from my mums house in stafford, a very good find, i'll tell my dad, absolutley loaded but tight as a gnats chuff and always trying to save a penney or two!! made 160k buying northern rock shares and wouldnt lend me 600 quid for a cheap runabout car!! :aargh4:

So, sub-market rate price, replacement bulbs, no failures as yet....

Brilliant... Mrs Mints Polo was tested (and passed) last Thursday.
