Synchronise Climate Controls on A6 '03 plate

Hi,

I am told it is possible to have both temperature controls move simultaneously instead of having to do each one by pressing a combination of buttons (much like I did to boost the volume on my mp3 player), can anyone tell me the right combo?

I'm going frommemory here so hopefully this is right?

Simply press and hold the auto button on the drivers side for a few seconds and this should do the trick

When set you adjust the driver side this will be mirrored on the passenger side

However as soon as the temp is altered on the passenger side then this is disabled
