Front passenger window doesn't go up.

The front passenger window on my A6 went down with no problems, but didn't even seem to try to move upwards. All the other windows work in perfectly good order. Does anyone know or have any ideas for this problem?

HI,
Get some wd/40, attach the red plastic applicator that the can comes with(small red straw) and squirt the corners of the window felt guides whilst the window is in the down position. Use the window a couple of times and all should be ok.
I had the same problem with both back windows on my a6.;)

Unfortunately the fault is in the wiring, I managed to get the window up by directly connecting the motor, all that has to be done now is find the fault. Phew! Thank goodness for patient auto-electrician.
