Hi everyone,
Just become a 1st time Audi owner as of today :D the car is a 55-plate A4 Avant SE 2.0TDi with multitronic transmission in Garnet Red. My first impressions of the car are very encouraging. Smooth and quiet to drive with good handling. Also plenty of room inside for the family and all that involves!!!
Previous to the Audi I had a Golf Mk5 GT TDi and before that 2 Golf Mk4 GT TDis in a row so I'm no stranger to the VAG stable. Also in the dim and distant past I had Golf Mk2 GTi 16valve - great car but unfortunately came to a premature demise one winter's morning in an incident involving black ice and a dry-stone wall :(
As personal stuff - 38, married for 10 years, 2 wee girls (7 & 4) and I work as a C&I engineer with a large design engineering company.
