Hi All,

I Joined this forum a few weeks ago and picked up my first Audi on Saturday. Have to say I'm well chuffed and can't keep out of it.

She's a 2006 S-line 2006 2.0 TDI Avant

In the last week I've done the following and I'm pleased with how she looks.

Rear tints 90%
Eibach lowering kit
19" RS4 Replica alloys
InPro chrome RS4 style mirrors

I've got a leather retofit interior going in soon from www.gibsontrimming.com (http://www.gibsontrimming.com) and will also put in a full ICE upgrade

Hope you like

Cheers
Steve

Tints do look good, gonna get some on mine now too. Have you thought about losing the rear badges?
I took mine off no probs, just heat up with a hair dryer and carefully peel off. Then get some cutting polish and polish out the shadow left by the badge.

Your not wrong, I've been pondering the removal of the badges and wondered what the easiest method was, can you recommend any specific cutting polish?

Wow, that looks fantastic.. kinda makes me wish I'd gone for an Avant!

I have been considering RS4's for some time.. they look great in that chrome effect.
Some people say the replica RS4 wheels are very heavy compared to the OEM RS4 wheels.

What wheels did you have on before please and have you noticed significant reduction in MPG or ride comfort?

Thanks for the kind comments, we are pleased with her.

I've only had the car a week so it's difficult to judge really however I would say I've noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever in acceleration, ride quality or MPG.

I had the 5 spoke standard S line wheels on before, think they were 17".

Go on, you know you want too.. :)

Standard RS6 style alloys on the S-Line are 18"

99% sold on tints- just got to find a good supplier and make my mind up on the tint percentage now.

Light at front, medium from b pillar back, dark on rear window - like mine. :beerchug:

My rear tints are 90% opaque. (rear passenger and luggage area)

Some people go lighter for luggage area to help with reversing but tbh ive had no issues.

Heres my B6 Avant woth a set of SLR replicas on it.

By the way the black B7 is mint man. I would put a nice set of twin chrome exhuasts on the back and a nice front valance to finish it!!

Avants have that bit extra in my mind!!!!
