Hi i would appreciate any ideas as to the cause of the slight miss on my tdi150, it occurs just below 2000 rpm and i can only describe it as a very slight hunting sensation, the rev counter does not move and it is when there is no or very little throttle input, also coinciding with this it puffs out smoke as you would expect when on full throttle, The car only appears to have started doing this after it had the temp sensor replaced and the intercooler seals replaced, also no fault codes are showing after the sensor was changed, any one any ideas, cheers kev

You might want to have a look at your MAF sensor.

If you are going to change the MAF ensure you buy a genuine one!!!

Even the aftermarket Bosch ones don't work. They either make your problem worse or do nothing and your problem remains.

Problem solved it was a intercooler hose that had come adrift, cheers kev
