Hi there

I thought the first post I make, should be in here.

I've recently sold my Subaru Impreza Classic Turbo (W) and have placed a deposit on an Audi A3 1.9 TDi (130bhp) Quattro (51).

I was pleasantly surprised by the firm ride the A3 quattro offered as the golf TDi 150 I was looking at, felt rather soft and unconnected to the road in comparison. (No offence intended - But I am coming from what I suppose is one of the best handling cars of its day).

The quattro aspect really appealed to me as this is what I am used to (AWD), but I can't wait to get in my first diesel as the 110 mile commute to work means that I should make a healthy financial saving.

Where is the best place to look at stats (mpg etc) of the TDI Quattro and when the time comes, the best place to research mapping the engine? Horror stories/risks/benifits etc

Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard.

Check the Model Specific forums for hints and tips. I find www.whatcar.com offers a fair bit of detail regarding the specs but nothing beats first hand tales.
