My first dealings with VAG cars were on a 89 Jetta tx, (till a taxi was parked in it the rear end of it:zx11: ). I always used Euro Car Parts, my dad has used GSF for peugots (I suggested a tow truck :biglaugh: ) . Anybody got any preferance for the two VAG suppliers?

I've only ever used GSF. The've always been great. Only once had a problem with them. I ordered a wing for a MK2 golf, but they delivered one from a MK1 Golf. They came and gave me the correct wing straight away. The label stuck on the first wing was incorrect. I still use them.

Went to Euro Crap Parts on Marsh Barton, Exeter (did I spell that wrong?) and they've never been helpful and even got something as simple as an oil filter wrong. I'll be using the new GSF just down the road from now on.

ECP used to be good but GSF far outshines them now.

They have the added bonus of more local stores.

I've used both and GSF seems a tad better, but it depends on the saleperson, both very similar really, with GSF concentrating on fewer marques than ECP.
