hi on my audi 90 quattro i have what appears to be an adjuster on my maf sensor. any ideas what it does? or what is it?

im not sure its a 2.3 20v 170 bhp i think its a 7a

Yes, that is a 7A, great engine when bored and stroked out to 2.5 (83x92.8). That screw is the Co adjusting screw and should not be altered without thee use of a 4 gas analyser, the removal of the fuse on top of the fuel pump relay and a diagnostic computer running but often VAG-COM refuses to communicate with these, I end up using my old Omitec Omiscan.

ok thats brilliant mate just thort id check before i have a fiddle with it. So what does that screw do when you adjust it, sorry for all the questions mate but i dont know that much about cars im still learning:confused: and also sorry t6o be a pain again you couldnt tell me where the high oil pressure sensor is please?

it is the high oil pressure sensor i believe as the light on trhe dash is going crazy and the oil pressure gauge is off 5!

They are on the right side of the block under the exhaust as far as I can remember, I will check.
