:1zhelp:

I have a A4 T-sport 96' model. The actuator valve in the turbo is loose/broken.

The turbo still works, just not aswell as it should.

Does anybody know if i can just replace the actuator valve, and how big is the job to complete? Thanks

hi in response to the problem you are having im having exactly the same trouble. iv had to remove the airbox heat shield and exhaust manifold to gain access to actuator (approx 1 hour job) the actuator looks fairly easy to change when said things removed.only problem im havin is gettin actuator. there is only 1 i can find which is by company called forge motorsport and costs approx 100 pound. i personally would have liked to have found severall options but cant so looks like i will fit above part hope this is some help to u. ill keep my eye on this thread to see if anyone else can help me and you further

I would say look for a K03S turbo from a late A4 B5 or one from the B6 A4 would probably be cheaper and you will have more power (not loads but a little more all the same with a remap).
