electric door mirrors

hi could any one help me?
i have a 2000 x passat 1.8 20v s. it has elctric door mirrors on the mirror adjuster their is a synbol to fold them in but i dont think they can be ? or is it a part that has multi use . thanks:confused:

From searching on here yesterday (as I also wanted to know), The english Passats didn't come with folding mirrors (only the switches), I would like to know if you could fit any other Model (B6, Audi!?!) folding mirrors and make them work with out to much work??
