New V's Old Beetle

Hi guys, I have had a passion for the old Beetles for many many years. Mint green, cream leather seats and baby pink piping and a nice chromed engine....We can all dream on eh...But how would you compare the new one against the old?

I know the obvious facts with regards to the old ones, but would you own both if you could, or just stick to one or the other?
