Windscreen cleaning

Can anyone recommend a good windscreen cleaner. The windscreen on my A4 keeps smearing when the wipers are on, i've even replaced the wiper blades in an effort to stop it, its driving me nuts. I've tried 3 different products but no difference:aargh4:. Maybe i should get a new windscreen!!!!

Traffic film remover is always good.

Also try some brake cleaner aerosol.

Both will remove any wax or grease that may be on there causing the smears.

vinegar and newspaper work a treat.

For best results clay the glass first, then use a decent glass polish (not cleaner). After that top it with Gtechniq glass sealant and you won't need to use your wipers much then.

It lasts 2yrs/30k miles. Fantastic stuff.

Try buying some aero wipers and investing in some car lack glass cleaner.

Once you tried it.. you will never hate driving in the rain no more!!

Try to apply a mild solution of Traffic Film Remover and then agitate with a cloth, this will remove any grease,grime or dirt off the screen,then a good cream polish will bring the glass to a high shine,try to apply 2 or 3 times to get a really good clean- Our Autobrite Low Dust Glass polish works superb on all glass and perspex to give that crystal clean:D

Meths followed by regular car wash always does the trick for me. Like someone else has said too; get aero wipers fitted. They are much, much better than old style wipers.
