Audi Fan?

Hi,
I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out, basically I have an audi 80 2litre, the car hasnt been used for ages. So the other day I jump started it but it kept dying if I didn't give it any throttle, so I left it.


The other day I came home and the fan was running for no reason, why would it do that?:confused:


Just wondering as it's quite strange

Sounds as if the relay that controls the power being sent to the fan may be stuck on. The car hasn't been used for a long time and as Andy says, some dampness may have affected it.

Cheers guys, it was strange it had been there for almost a week after it was started, and then I came home and the fan was on.


Anyway, that makes sence as it has been there for a while.
