Removing lower front grille

Hello

Does anyone know the best way of removing the lower centre plastic front grille from a 2000 (X reg) TT?

Can it be done easily and is it held in with screws or clips?

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Its held in on clips, a good tug will get it off.

Thanks for that - I assume that it pulls off outwards and not inwards. Is there any chance of breaking the clips when it comes off?

Yes it pulls out, if you can reach underneath you may be able to release the clips

Thanks - I have done the job now - I found that it was made much easier if you remove the lower side grille first (it clips in as well) which enables you to reach inside and get your fingers onto the side clips on the centre grille to free those clips first and the grille then comes off more easily.
