Sat Nav Alturntive

Hi i'm a newbie on the site and had a question for you.

I've just picked up my new jetta which has the 310 cd player with IPOD connection in arm rest, it's ok but a bit dull on the eye. As I use the car quite a bit I wanted to have sat nav and bluetooth connectivity and thought about the VW option. But the £1500 price tag put me off, and it still doesn't have bluetooth.

I've looked on ebay and there is a unit for sale that has all the options, not sure if the ipod connection is a straight swap but was going to ask the ebayer the question.

Has anyone got any information or suggestions.

Can't comment on the EBay advert.

If you did end up splashing out and going the VW route, don't get too excited about having the VW Premium Bluetooth kit. I've got it. It only works with a very limited range of Nokia phones. Nothing by Sony, Samsung, LG, Blackberry or iPhone. Complete waste of money.

Thanks for the info. Haven't purchased the item yet, but will post if I do as it's certainly a cheaper option and supposedly compatible with all Bluetooth phones.
