Hi Guys,

Got a few questions...

I've got an Audi 1.8 Turbo sport 96 AEB . The previous owner has been running semi synthetic oil for about 9 years in it. Should I change to fully synthetic? what make and type should I be using? Also do I need to use an Audi oil filter or can I use a clone?

Would you use a K&N Panel filter or and Induction kit? Been looking around and the price is about the same give or take a few quid...

Lastly, I'm new to Audi’s... wheres the best place to get parts for Audi's?

Thanks
Mark

go for fully synthetic, worth the few quid extra
i run a k+n induction on mine, but a lot people warn against fitting as if over oiled they can wreck maf, but not had any trouble with mine and they do add a sportier induction noise, combine with a forge diverter valve for a subtle blow off sound
as for parts, euro car parts/german and swedish are reasonable and normally give you a choice between cheap and o.e supplier always go for o.e, for main dealer only parts try www.vagparts.com (http://www.vagparts.com) they may be able to knock a few quid off, used parts try www.audipartsgateway.co.uk/ (http://www.audipartsgateway.co.uk/) and of course my favourite ebay
