Hi,
I’ve been reading up on the new Scirocco and will be running down to my local VW to see one in the flesh and test drive as soon as I am back from Switzerland (on business). I have pretty much decided on ordering one with most of the toys. However when it comes to the DSG option I am totally undecided. From my internet research and magazine swatting, it seems that the DSG is what I should go for.
I’d love to hear other people’s opinions for and against? Will DSG models have better residuals? The press seem to think the extra cost is worth it. I’ve driven a new TT with the DSG (I assume it is the same) and was quite impressed but I really do love a manual.
Thoughts anyone?
Cheers
Graeme

dsg is a subject that is very personal, even sales people at dealers are divided, people go on and on justifying it, i suggest try it and if you like it buy it

i've driven a few golfs and audis with it and never really floated my boat, i ordered a manual scirocco before trying one, having now had a test drive i really liked the manual
