2001 Audi A3 1.6 sport

Hello all!
I'm due to pick up my A3 sport in the next couple of days (replacing my mk4 Golf 1.4 E) - just wondered what the BHP and 0 - 60 time was? I have a feeling its around the 101 BHP mark and 8/9 seconds 0 - 60? Is this right?

A had a 1.6 Golf as a hire car with the same engine... In fairness i found it surpising and the car pulled its weight better than i expected..

Yup, you're right, about 10.5 seconds give or take a little.

Thats why whoever was arguing that a 1.9TDI A3 can hit 0-60 in 11.7 seconds is WRONG! :biglaugh:

Yup! :) The diesel engine fascinates me. I find it amazing how it can produce so much torque. I wish I'd trained to be a mechanic sometimes. Still, mechanic course on the horizons once I've finished Uni! :biglaugh:

PD130... got to be one of the best diesels made.

How do you change the little caption around the avatar. I changed it a while ago and can't remember how I did it. The DH may know what I'm going to change it to...

Click on the " User CP" up top. Then once in your control panel click on the Edit Your Details link on the left hand side. Somewhere on the screen there is a section called "Custom User Title" - You can enter your new blurb there! :)
