Hello all :D

Ive been into VAG for some time now and have owned a few different models, currently I have a bare shell mk1 golf (previously 174bhp 16v on 45 webers), A Corrado G60, and a new Corrado 1800 16v.

My dad has a 50k mile concours mk1 gti too.

I have thrown a site together where the G60 and a link to the new £225 quid corrado can be seen...http://www.corradog60.co.uk

Im also involved in running a yearly VAG show, but its not about the bigest and the best, its very down to earth and a great day out for the family.
All VAG that turn up park together to create the show, no VAG are resigned to a car park...no matter what the state of repair. :D

Im 29 in September and have two beautiful kids, Izzy 2yrs and Ayrton 5 months old...They are my reason for living. Im also single after a 12 year relationship unfortunately ended.

Well, thats a bit about me...Oh, i also run http://www.Lamin-X.co.uk and i have just become a forum supporter, so i will be offering a discount for you all.

Thanks,Neil. :beerchug:

Thank you for the welcome.

I will do my best, I am a relatively new start company but i do have quite a business background. Product quality/Packaging/Delivery time/and help/advice are all top of the list as far as priority goes.

I have a background in car care too, and i have been known to be a little bit over the top, but i enjoy looking after cars as much as driving/modifying them. :approve:

Neil.

Is this the same Lamin-X the Americans go on and on and on about?

Welcome aboard and that black Corrado is b-e-a-utiful - those wheels set it off perfectly.

Hi Sam? It is indeed:D

Thanks for the corrado comment, here's some more pics for you...I painted the wheels myself with hammerite! And the number plate may look strange as its made from plastic mesh, it allows flow to the sierra cosworth:Blush2: intercooler.

Welcome to the VWAF Forums Neil,

Now go tell your dad that MK1 GTi's were built to be driven, and not wrapped up in cotton wool for 25-26 years :D

TimmyTim, oh dear mate:confused:Get her told! lol.
And thanks for the best wishes, really appreciated!

BDT, thanks mate.
Thing with the mk1 is that, its one of the best in the country...and i don't mean best restored omes...Its got original paint, smells as new inside, absolutely no wear on the interior, even all the trim has never seen any silicone based product. When you shut the doors, they are air tight. Its stunning!

If it was driven properly, it wouldn't be concours for long:( and people couldn't appreciate and see how a near as possible mk1 gti looks/smells/drives (the odd time, lol)
