Still need to invest in some window tints, and im considering those aluminium / silver wing mirror covers.

Oh, and my private plate is still to go back on. :D

Do you have the same seats as me? Black and Grey Leather with the S-Line logo embossed on them.

It's my cars diesel cousin with different wheels :D

The car will look so quality with tinted windows and alu mirror caps.

Blackout grille would look good IMO.

Looks good.
Windows are a must.
S4 mirrors are next for me too.
PS how hard is it keeping black cars clean in this great British summertime!!

They are black / grey leather but they dont have the S-line logo on them.

Any pics?

Tell me about it. Had the car gleaming yesterday, only for it to pi$$ with rain and ruin everything. Still, looks great when the sun is shining.

IMO if you are gonna go down the blackout grille road you want to dechrome your windows and get the black roof rails too ala S-Line Special Edition v2.0 as pic below. Stealth A4! ;)

Think i'll leave the grille alone in that case. ;)

I have always preffered the chrome finish to the grill and windows.

Especially on the Avant with the chrome roof rails to match.

Obviously some folk like the blacked out version thats why Audi brought out the special edition S Line which featured all black finish.

Each to their own I suppose.

Very nice mate. :approve:

I put chrome mirrors on my A6, the wife thinks its the best mod I did to the thing !

One other thing I would do, get some front and rear mudflaps on it if it hasn't already. They add a slightly sportier stance IMHO.

Tints booked for next week. Thinking of de-badging it at the back, to leave just the Audi badge. ie Get rid of 'A4' and '2.0 Tdi'.

Ive seen a few about de-badged and think it looks much better. What do you reckon?

Ye sounds good idea and looks better.

As long as no scratches are left though!

Notice with the B8 model you now have the option of leaving the badges of when ordering.

The factory 'de-badged' option was available for the B7 A4. When I ordered my first one in early 2005 (2.0 TDI S-Line saloon) I could choose to have it 'with' or 'without' badges. I went for 'without', as I prefer the look. My wife's Avant S-Line is similarly smooth at the rear.

Now with tints, de-badged and with private plate back on.

Yes, look's nice. I have just bought the brushed stainless interior kit for my se. I've fitted everything except the front ashtray which seems to be bigger than my original- anyone have any ideas? cheers

Cheers guys - getting the tints fitted was definately a good idea. I think it looks superb now.

S4 mirrors next i reckon. :D

Not sure about the mudflaps idea. Anyone got any pics of what i could expect?

Not a big fan of the mudflaps myself on the A4- had them on a loan car and they looked strange.
Plus they cover up the nice wide tyre profile you can see from behind.

I thought the mudflaps gave a slightly sportier stance... not quite sure why though...

Personal preference at the end of the day, I like them.
