Glovebox latch and windscreen vent

Two questions for the experts out there!
How do you adjust the catch on the glovebox?
I have a rattle in the windscreen vent...possibly inside what I believe to be the sensor in the centre of the vent. Does the vent prise out to allow a closer look?

The sensor you describe in the centre of the windscreen vent is a sunlight sensor. It is held in place by a spring clip and can be easily prised out using a small screwdriver by gently easing it out on each side a little at a time. Hope this helps.
