Bubbling windscreen and rear window top trims!

Hi everyone, i'm new to the forum!
Just bought a 2000 a4 1.8 se after years of passat ownership!
It's immaculate apart from the rusty trim/rubber on top of the front screen and rear window.:zx11:
Can anybody suggest a cure? Has anyone experienced this problem?

Hi there... The only way to fix this is to get the windows replaced... I dont think you can get any seals for them... They have to be glued in...

Am now on my third Audi s4 and the front windscreen had to be replaced on all three of them... It is a well known fault with the A4...

Insurance job i think... I was £60 to get mine done...

i've had mine done and it was a window out job. You don't have to replace the windows just take them out, clean them up and re-fit with new seals.

The seals where about £20ea from Audi and my local windscreen fitters charged £47ea to take the windows out, clean and re-fit with new seals.
