08 passat Est rear bumper removal

Can antone tell me how to go about removing the rear bumper?

Do i need to remove the rear light cluster?

I've been looking into this too. Have a look at the Witter website, they have pictorial instructions and even a video of how to do it. An excellent site really whether you use their kit or not.
