Hi,

Do you need to remove the powersteering/alternator pulley to change the cambelt or does the cambelt cover split around the pulley. If you do, what sort of torque is required to do up the main bolt and what size is it? Also is there any other recommend things to do while you're in there changing the belt eg re-torque the cam sprockets or changing the water pump (i've had the cam sprocket fall off a cam after doing a cam belt on a subaru even tho i didn't undo it)? I am planning on changing the tensionser.

Thanks Luke

PS how do i tell what kind of 1.6 i have, there's a sticker thats peeling off with AEE 291 339 on it and i assume that's the model? Is ther a stamped code on the motor/block somewhere?
