A6 1.8 T a lot smoke coming from exhaust

I have an Audi A6 1.8 Turbo. Today the exhaust started to below out alot smoke only as I accelerated past 2800/3000 Revs. It has been very cold recently and I have not long owned it. Could this have any bearing on the situation.

I have no Idea what it could be, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
