Instrument cluster lighting issue

The illumination on my temperature and fan selectors has suddenly stopped working. I've checked the fuses and generally fiddled around with the dash but no luck. Has anybody got any ideas??

Also

The boot interior light has stopped working as well, once again any ideas???

Hi mate,

On some controls for the heater there is a bulb in the middle behind the fan switch, pull the knob off. If however it is climate control with the digital display then it could be a faulty unit. U can check the instrument lighting through vagcom.

I would check the bulb on the boot to, may just be blown
