Radiator fan and compatibility

Hi, I have a 1993 K reg Audi 80 (newer shape) 2.0 injection, and I am unsure of the engine code, I think it's ABT or ABK.

I need to get a new radiator fant motor and I can pick one up for engine code ABK, the thing is is it compatible with my car?

I could look but it's at home and the guy needs to know before 4 today!

Okay, my engine code is ABT. So, is a fant for the ABT the same as for ABK? On hos picture there are 2 fans but I'm sure I only have one!

Turns out it does work! Hope this helps someone else...

The ABK engine fan motor has 3 wires, but even with my two on my cable it works. Don't know what this is (a lower speed and more voltage for higher speed as it's driving 2 fans? I noticed mine has a missing 2nd fan speed fuse).

Also turns out it was a blown fuse that stopped the original fan working! Always check the fuses....:(
