Hi,
I have a 1997 Polo 1.9 SDI. The engine speed seems to be going up & down when idling as if someone is pumping the accelarator. It doesn't seem to be that much as it stays around 800-950 RPM. Is there any way to increase the engine idle speed as it behaves well when the accelarator is pumped just a bit?
Secondly, when the brake is released, there seems to be a strange squealing sound like "ching" from rear right. Have been to kwik fit, they have cleaned the breaks but to no avail, seems as if there is a spring that produces this sound when it gets released.Any idea what's creating this sound?
