Remote Locking

Hi all, i bought and fitted a remote locking kit to my 80, similar to the Rightclick kit just under a different name, fitted this a while ago but have only got round to wiring it in to the hazards, there is a pink wire coming from the remote box which is to go to parking/hazard lights, i removed the switch from the dash and after testing all wires no matter what i did i couldn't get the hazards to flash when the remote was pressed, two wires going into the switch are for left and right flashers respectively and i tried to piggy back those but then when the indicators were activated all four flashed!
Bugger.
Anyone got any ideas on this, have been stumped here!!!!!!
