can anybody help, i have a 2001 mk4 golf 1.6 16v starts fine but has no power goes like a 1.1 comes up with 17961 code (p1553) barometric manifold signals. somebody told me it could be one of the two cats blocked but removed them then tried reving it and it only revs to 5700 to 5800 rpm at stand still . disconnected map sensor and also blocked up pipe going to purge valve but still no difference, can anyone help
