Hi!
A simple question - what oil can i use for my gearbox (1997 T4 1.9TD 5 speed).
Having some language difficulties here in spain. the guy in the shop just asked if the oil was red or green, to me it looks yellow, so he said it was red.
He's given me some 80W90 GL-4, but according to my (rubbish) workshop manual, it should be 75W90.
Can i top up with the 80W90, or should i drain and replace the lot. Is 80W90 even ok for this???
