Anybody Ever Had A Lexus ?

I had a go in one yesterday it was a 220d,have to say i was impressed it is very refined and smooth not to mention quick ,its a lads at work he loves it,just wondered if anyone rates them.

A Neighbour had the previous model. It always looked good but I never went in it.

Always got the impression they are/were trying to match 3 series Beemers.

I had one for four days whilst my bumper was repaired.

It was the 220D SE-L.

Didn't like it. The A4 is nicer and faster and has a much much better quality interior.

I even thought an avensis that i drove the other year was of a better quality. The lexus quality was no where near as good as i thought it would be. The rear view mirror would shake as you drove.

Even though it has 5bhp more than my A3 (177) it felt a lot slower. The 140bhp A3 feels about the same as the 220D !!

Must be the extra 190KG that the lexus has over the A3 and A4

It's only saving grace: rear wheel drive.
