It is water cooled now as of 2006, made in Brazil.

Unfortunately the Brazilian quality is nowhere near the German built vans, must be the recycled corned beef tins...

They're nowhere near the German build quality, you are absolutely right! I was looking at a brand new one on Saturday and none of the body panels lined up and the paint finish was awful. I've never driven one though, wouldn't really want to either!

Plus, they're damn ugly too!

I'll stick with my '71 Bus, thanks ;)
