Hi Guys
My Kids have ruined my current unit ( factory fit Symphony 2, 6 cd) by feeding it loose change while I was washing the outside.
(yes, yes, I know the stupidity of leaving them in there etc....)
My local independant has tried to resolve it but apparently it's beyond repair, I'm given the choice of a new Audi unit at around 700 quid ( ouch )
Looking around I see there are some recon units on ebay etc for audi dealer at around £200. plus a few private sales for £80
Clearly I don't want to get stiffed for the 700 but equally I don't want to waste 200 on a previously owned/chav stolen unit
I don't want to upgrade to anything flashier as I like the old one.
Anyone had any similar experiences and could offer guidance.
