large stone chip in headlight mot failure???

Hi i have gained a lovely stone chip in my headlight 40mmx20mm approx!Car has mot soon and just wondering if this is a failure?Cheers for any advice :D

I think so yes, especially if it has disturbed the light pattern

only a MOT failure if the beam pattern has been affected. You'll probably get an advisory for the chip if the beam pattern isn't affected

You will be ok if the beam patten is ok.. (which im sure it will be)

ALSO.. as long as there is no ingress of water you will also be ok..

As above only if its discoloured due to water ingress or the light pattern has been effected
